Qurbani 2026
Qurbani 2026
Give your Qurbani with Muslim Help UK and feed a family this Eid al-Adha. From £55.
Your Qurbani is more than an obligation. It is a chance to share what you have with people who have almost nothing. Choose your animal, choose the country, and our teams handle the rest, so your sacrifice becomes a meal for a family who may eat meat once a year.
It is neither their meat nor their blood that reaches Allah, but it is your piety that reaches Him.
Qur’an 22:37

What is Qurbani?
Qurbani, also called udhiyah, is the sacrifice of a livestock animal during Eid al-Adha. It is a duty on every Muslim who can afford it, performed after the Eid prayers to mark the end of Hajj. The meat is shared with family, with friends and, most importantly, with people in need. Giving your Qurbani through a trusted charity means your sacrifice reaches families who would otherwise go without.
When is Qurbani 2026?
Eid al-Adha 2026 is expected around 26 to 28 May 2026, the 10th to 12th of Dhul Hijjah 1447, subject to the moon sighting. Donate your Qurbani before Eid so we can complete your sacrifice on time.
Where we perform your Qurbani
You choose the country, and we make sure the sacrifice takes place there. This year we are delivering Qurbani in Somalia, in Yemen, and in the Rohingya camps in Bangladesh. These are places where fresh meat is rare and where a Qurbani share is often the only meat a household will eat all year.
How your Qurbani is completed
- You choose. Animal, country, and how many shares.
- We source locally. Livestock is bought in the country where it will be given, which supports local farmers as well as local families.
- The sacrifice is performed according to Islamic principles during the days of Eid, by trusted local volunteers.
- The meat is distributed fresh to families, orphans and elderly people identified as most in need.
- We confirm to you once your Qurbani is complete.
